This season I collaborated with the beautiful Rochester Hotel during Paris Fashion Week. I had the pleasure of experiencing the beauty and peace of this hotel which is located in the heart of the city. I had a wonderful time sketching the hotel and being inspired by all the great parts of the hotel.

Hotel Rochester is a very cozy and quiet answer to a luxury and comfortable stay right on the busy and central Champs Elysees. The staff is amazing and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms are beautifully decorated and are wonderful to be in. If you want to have the perfect balance of being located right on the Champs Elysees as well as having a luxury boutique vibe, this is the place for you.

This gorgeous hotel is located five minute walking distance from the Champs Elysees,  Also the metro stop, Saint Philippe is only a few stops away from the Eiffel Tower, Palais De Tokyo and the Opera. In one word, I would describe this location as perfect.

Another great advantage to this hotel is that you have so many great restaurants around you. You can find sandwich places, brasseries, bars, and bakeries. Moreover,  If you don't feel like going out, you should know that there is a lovely bar and restaurant in the hotel. You should definitely give it a try.

I always considered Paris like a home since it is one of my favorite cities in the world. Despite that, I never thought I would have such a warm and welcoming experience in an apartment hotel.  Casao is such a place and there, you will find a perfect balance between a home and a hotel in Paris.
During Fashion Week in Paris, I had the opportunity to stay at the Casao Apartment Hotel.  It was comfortable and well located. Also, I found that the staff to be helpful and hospitable.

The Hotel:
Casao is a boutique apartment hotel with a personal touch. Before your arrival, the Casao team makes sure to provide you with the necessary details to access your room. When you enter the hotel, you can enjoy a lobby lounge and dining area to sit and relax as well as a kitchen to prepare food. In the morning, you can eat breakfast which is included in your stay and throughout the day, you are also treated to coffee, cookies and water.  When you sit in the lobby, you are also able to choose music to listen to, drink a tea and just feel at home.

The Location:
I think one of the best things about the Casao is its’ location. It is just a 10-minute walking distance from the Opera, the Louvre, the Palais Royal and a 5-minute walk to Le Maraias. Everything was so close I did not to need to take the Metro even once during my stay at the hotel even though I was at the hotel for a few days. However, there is a Metro stop just a few minutes walking distance from the hotel therefore you are absolutely close to almost every great part of the city.

Where to Eat:
Casao is located right by Le Maraias, an area where you can find lots of bars, restaurants and excellent food. There are many diners, fast food places and Cafes in the vicinity as well. Every room at the Casao has a really nice Espresso machine and you can enjoy good coffee during your stay.
It is easy to find something that will suit your taste near the Casao at all times of the day with so many cool places close by.

The things I loved most:
The room was well designed, clean, very pleasant, quiet, private, comfortable, and had a good vibe. The service was great and the person who was working at the front desk during my stay was warm and friendly. The hotel was in a lovely area in the heart of Paris. It was really close to everything and that was a huge advantage.

I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice room in a perfect location.

I stayed at the Splendid Etoile Hotel and experienced a quiet, relaxing and beautiful Parisian getaway, even though I was actually coming to work for Fashion Week, I felt I was on vacation.

The Location:
The Splendid Etoile is located right near the historical Arc De Triomphe, only a few metro stops away from the Champs-élysées, the Opera, the Louvre and the Tuileries, which are the main attractions to see in Paris. The hotel is right in front of the metro, at the Charles De Gaulle Etoile stop that is on the Yellow line.

What to see in the area:
Firstly, the Arc de Triomphe is right near the hotel. It was perfect to take walks, see the beautiful art and structure around it and just enjoy the amazing Parisian experience of seeing this historical building from the view of your room. Also, if you are into photography, it is just a perfect location for taking pictures. I really recommend seeing all the lovely streets in the surrounding area and taking the Metro to Champs Elyses, where you can go shopping and see one of the most beautiful streets in Paris.

The hotel:
The Splendid Etoile is a boutique hotel with a luxury, yet personal touch. The moment I arrived at the hotel, I was offered coffee and there were chocolates waiting for me in my room. I truly got the feeling that the hotel staff does their utmost to welcome you, make your stay enjoyable and provide you with the best hospitality.

There are plenty of cool restaurants, bars and coffee shops near the hotel. Also, there is a lovely quiet bar at the hotel where you can sit to work, eat, and drink something refreshing. Regarding the restaurants, all you have to do is cross the road and you will see a variety of Cafe's, Bistros, bars and more. Even if you are into fast food, you will be able to find something nearby. The area is wonderful when it and always find something to suit your taste.
