Loving the roof top: What we just adored about the Shenkin Boutique Hotel

In the center of Tel Aviv right next to the Carmel Market, you will be able to find the relaxing Shenkin Boutique Hotel. What we truly loved about the Shenkin Hotel was not only the colorful and innovative conceptual design, but also the amazing vibe of the hotel and the great services and location. The hotel facilities include an inspiring lobby, a breathtaking rooftop, a meeting room, a spa and a gym.

במרכזו של רחוב ברנר בתל אביב, נמצא מלון בוטיק קטן הנראה שקט ושלו מבחוץ, אך רועש מבחינה עיצובית קונספטואלית וחגיגת צבעים מבפנים. במלון תוכלו למצוא שירותי ספא, חדר כושר, גג מעוצב ומפנק,חדר ישיבות ולובי מעורר השראה.

אבל מלבד הנראות והאסטתיות, היו עוד כמה סיבות לכך שיצאנו מרוצות אחרי לילה במלון שנקין.

מבקבוקי הקאווה בלובי ועד קיר הזכוכית המיוחד במקלחת החדר.כל מה שרציתם לדעת על מלון שנקין.

החדרים:

במלון ישנם ארבעה סוגי חדרים, המחולקים לגדלים שונים כגון חדר ג,וניור, קלאסיק, סופריור וסטודיו. זכינו להתארח בסוויטת הסטודיו הגדולה ביותר מבין סוגי החדרים שהמלון מציע.

כאשר תיכנסו לחדרכם ישר תבחינו בעיצובו המיוחד ובצבעוניות החוגגת בו. למרות זאת, לא מופרת אווירת השלווה והרוגע השוררת בחדר.

לפי הקונספט העיצובי של המלון ישנה חשיבות לצבעוניות ולחפצי נוי יחודיים ,המשחקים תפקיד מרכזי.יחד עם זאת כחלק מהסגנון בולט ערבוב סגנונות, כמו נגיעות הוינטג' לצד פריטי פופ ארט המודרניים.

העניין בא לידי ביטוי בחדרים, עם מנורות וינטג' צהובות משני צידי המיטה, כורסה ירוקה, על הקיר הכיתוב LOVE IT HERE באותיות גדולות צבעוניות וחדר שירותים המשלב אמבטיה מודרנית ומרצפות רטרו.

עוד אלמנט מעניין, בין אזור המיטה והשירותים מפריד קיר זכוכית שקוף, אשר בלחיצת כפתור הופך אטום.

:The Rooms

The Shenkin Hotel has four types of rooms including the Junior, Classic, Superior and Studio Suites. We had the pleasure of staying in the Studio Suite which is the biggest one and includes a cozy and spacious king size bed. One of the things in the room’s design that truly impressed us was the glass wall of the bathroom that turned from a see through glass wall to a non-transparent wall with the push of a button. We also really liked the combination of modern design aspects with pop art and vintage items in the room such as cool letters on the wall and colorful furniture which added a playful and fun atmosphere to this luxurious hotel suite.

הלובי:

גם בלובי המלון בולט הקו העיצובי המעניין, אך בצורה פחות מעודנת ויותר מתוחכמת.

כאשר באים מבחוץ, הכניסה לא בהכרח מצביעה על העבודה כי מדובר במלון בוטיק, אך מהרגע שנכנסים נשאבים לחגיגת הצורות והצבעים.

מצד שמאל דלפק הקבלה, שבו אגב מוצע בקבוק קאווה לאורחי המלון, כל יום בין השעות 14:00- 18:00. מצד ימין פינת ישיבה כיפית עם לוק של סלון יפה ומודרני.

בהמשך ישנה יציאה לחצר שגם היא מסוגננת בקפידה, ומהווה פינה כיפית ונעימה, בה תוכלו ליהנות משתיה חמה ועוגיות באופן חופשי, בכל שעות היום.

:The lobby

The lobby of the Shenkin hotel is designed in a sophisticated manner and has a young and inviting atmosphere that offers many places to sit and relax. There is a lovely patio in the lobby area which includes a complimentary snack bar for guests with hot drinks, cookies, cakes, and cold beverages. Another fun touch is that every day, the hotel offers free champagne for guests from 2-6 PM. Also, you can enjoy an array of art pieces, books and magazines to read in the lobby.

מה אוכלים?

איפה לאכול את ארוחת הבוקר תוכלו לבחור בין שלושה בתי קפה עם אווירה תל אביבית בקרבת המלון, הראשון LOVE EAT השני, BEN AMI PASTRY SHOP והשלישיBAKERS BAKERY . אנחנו אכלנו בBAKERS BAKERY ומאוד נהננו.

לשאר שעות היום על רחוב שנקין ישנן לא מעט מסעדות ובתי קפה המציעים היצע מגוון של מאכלים מהמטבחים השונים. בהם אפשר להנות מארוחה טובה, כמו סוס עץ אואורנה ואלה.

תוכלו גם ללכת לאזור של אלנבי ושוק הכרמל, ולאכול בבר מסעדה מצוין בשם מנזר ואחריה לקנח במלביה הנמצאת בסמוך.

:Places to eat

The hotel includes breakfast during your stay and offered us an authentic experience of the Israeli breakfast. We had a choice of three restaurants to go to which allowed us to taste the local breakfast options. All of the restaurants are located about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The first option is the Love Eat Coffee House. The other options are the Ben Ami Pastry Shop and the Bakers Bakery which is where we chose to eat. We really enjoyed the generous breakfast they had to offer and we thought it was really great to be able to choose where to go and eat every morning.

For lunch and dinner, we would like to recommend going to eat at the Carmel Market across the street from Shenkin Street to experience the unique local flavors. The Carmel Market is located just a few minutes away from the hotel. We chose to eat at the Pasta Basta Bar at the Carmel Market and had an Israeli dessert called Malaby at the Malabia located near it. We also recommend eating at the restaurants Orna and Ella and Sus Etz on Shenkin Street.

איפה מבלים?

על רחוב שנקין לא חסרים ברים ומקומות בילוי יחד עם מגוון רחב של חנויות בוטיק. בנוסף, המלון נמצא במרחק של חמש עד עשר דקות הליכה, ממוקדי בילוי מרכזיים כמו שדרות רוטשילד, שוק הכרמל ורחוב אלנבי השופעים אטרקציות.

תוכלו לנוע בעיר בעזרת מוניות שירות אשר עוברות כל כמה דקות ברחוב אלנבי (בחמישי, מוצאי שבת וחגים גם אוטובוסים) בכל שעות היום שבאמצעותן תוכלו להגיע לכל אזור אחר של העיר.

במלון יש רופ טופ, מהממם כיף ומרוהט בצורה הכי נוחה ויפה, גם לשבת שם עם כוס יין, יכולה להיות יציאה שווה.

?What to do

Near the hotel, you can enjoy the many different bars, stores and coffee shops on Shenkin Street. Across the street you have the wonderful Carmel Market which offers an extraordinary cultural experience and a variety of local different delights and souvenirs. The hotel is also located 1.5 Km away from the Tel Aviv beach and you can get there easily by bus or by foot.
